三井住友プラチナとJCBカードのApple Watchキャンペーン
Apple Watchをフックにしたカード会員獲得キャンペーンが三井住友VISAプラチナとJCBカードそれぞれやっています。facebook広告で見た人も多いのでは？それぞれ指定カード申し込みで4万円相当を還元する、というモノですが・・・どっちが得なんでしょう？
三井住友プラチナカードのキャンペーン
三井住友カードのキャンペーンはこうこういった内容です。
プラチナカードで、Apple Watchを手に入れて新しいライフスタイルを。
タイトルキャッチにあるように「三井住友プラチナカード」新規入会＋Apple Pay設定で、Apple Watch相当分のキャッシュバックをする、という内容。具体的なステップは以下の通り。
- 三井住友プラチナカードに新規入会
【新規入会期限：2018年5月31日（木）カード発行期限：2018年6月30日（土）】 - プラチナカード発送後送付されるメールよりApple Watch購入専用サイトからプラチナカードでApple Watchを購入
【期限：カード発券月から2ヵ月以内】 - 到着したApple WatchにプラチナカードでApple Payを設定
【期限：カード発券月から2ヵ月以内】 - Apple PayのiD支払い分36,800円まで無料体験（iDバリューを付与）
要はプラチナカードでApple Watchを買って、Apple PayのiDで36,800円使ってね、というキャンペーン。
ちなみにプラチナカードの年会費は50,000円＋税です。

JCBとApple WatchでApple Payを始めよう ｜ クレジットカードなら、JCBカード
こちらはちょっとややこしくて、三井住友カード同様作ったカードで特設サイトでApple Watchを購入、その後Apple Watch購入分を含めて60万円を使ってキャッシュバックされる、というもの。ちなみにキャッシュバック金額はプラチナ・ゴールドが40,000円、その他のJCBカードだと20,000円です。JCBゴールドの年会費は10,000円＋税なのでカードの年会費自体は三井住友プラチナよりは安いのと、こちらは初年度の年会費は無料のようです。

どっちがトク？三井住友プラチナとJCBカード
んー、これは比べるべくもないですねぇ・・・。
充分にキャッシュバックを受けるための必要金額を計算してみました。
三井住友プラチナ
こちらは初年度のプラチナカード年会費50,000円＋税とApple Watchキャッシュバック分の36,800円。ざっくり9万円です。
JCBカード
こちらは4万円のキャッシュバックを受けるための最低条件がJCBゴールドで、初年度年会費は無料なのですが、キャッシュバックをもらうための利用金額がApple Payで20万、その他の利用で40万の合計60万円。実は新規入会キャンペーンで11,000ポイントつくのですが、焼け石に水的な感じ。実はJCBに切り替えようと思ってました！くらいの人でないとなかなかこのキャンペーンには乗れないですね・・・。60万使うなら普通にApple Watch買います。
ということで、軍配は明らかに三井住友プラチナに挙がりましたが、こちらもApple Watchのためにわざわざこのキャンペーンに乗ろうとは思えないですね・・・。もともと三井住友プラチナに興味がある人くらいしか・・・。
しかしながらこのキャンペーンを見るとそれぞれの目論見が違っていて面白いですね。三井住友プラチナはプラチナカード会員を増やしたい＋Apple Payの登録を増やしたい、というのが狙いのようですが、JCBはそれに加えて利用金額も伸ばしたい、というところでしょうか。Apple Pay分とその他利用を分けてしまったので二兎を追いすぎな感じは強いです。Apple Pay22万とその他利用38万の人とか出たら揉めると思いますね・・・これ。
けど三井住友プラチナも通常新規入会に振り向ける獲得キャンペーン原資がただApple Watchキャッシュバックになってハードルがついてるだけにしか見えないのも残念といえば残念。担当者が一生懸命考えすぎた感があるなぁ。
