心待ちにしていたiOSのSuica対応。Apple Watch Series 2もこのために買ったようなもの・・・と思って早速アップデートしたら・・・
充電が全くされなくなりました。充電マークが出ているのにどんどんバッテリーが減る、という謎の状況・・・。

Suica対応のiOS10.1でiPhoneの充電ができなくなった件。
Apple Watch Series 2のみでSuicaの利用が出来るのは事前に調べたとおり。

手持ちのiPhoneは6Sですが、これでやっと左手でSuica使えるぞ・・・と思いきや、今回の対応はSuicaアプリが出るのではなくてiOSそのもので対応するんですね。
なのでiOS10.1にアップデート・・・・したあたりからおかしくなりました。
どんどん充電が減っていく・・・そして充電ケーブルに挿しても・・減る減る・・・ちゃんと電池は緑色になってイナズママークも出ているのに・・・。
電源ボタンとホームボタン長押しでも改善せず・・・これはもしかして噂に聞く文鎮化・・・？
まさかのまさかで純正ケーブルじゃないから？と思ってとりあえず近くのコンビニに。
センチュリーというメーカーの一応「Made for iPhone」と書いてある短いケーブルを買って充電してみると・・・？充電できた！
それまで使っていたケーブルは謎のアジア製のやつで、iOSアプデするまでは普通に使えていたものです。
今回も、表向きは充電できている表示なのにバッテリーがどんどん減るというダマシ表示・・・・iOSのアプデごとにMFI非認証のケーブルは使えなくなるらしいのですが初体験でした。
