AMP(Accelerated Mobile Pages)ってご存知ですか？Googleが提唱しているモバイルでのページの高速表示を可能にするための規格です。
運営しているサイトで普通のサイトのページとAMPページのトラフィックの逆転が起きたので思ったことをちょっとまとめます。

ページのAMP対応は一番手っ取り早い検索1位へのSEOかも知れない。
別で運営しているサイトではGoogle AnalyticsのトラッキングIDをサイトとAMPページで分けていました。
なんかのハウツーでそんなふうに書いてたのでとりあえず分けておいた、という感じです。これが後で公開することになるのですが・・。
サイトは個人運営としてはまぁそこそこのトラフィックのサイトで、SimilarWebで国内4,000～9,000位くらいをウロウロする感じです。
昼に記事公開をしてからしばらくしてAMPのトラフィックをたまたま見ると、その前にみたサイトのトラフィックよりも全然多い数値になってました。
グラフにしてみるとこんな感じです。
対象になるキーワードはそこそこ大きめの検索ボリュームのもの。そこにAMPで一番上に出たわけですから一気にトラフィックが伸びました。
はてなブックマークやヤフー砲みたいなメガ級ではないですが、サイトにとっては大きなトラフィックです。
普段からもAMPで見られてるのが意外に多かったのですが、ピークタイムは一気にサイトトラフィックの2.5倍くらいに上がっています。
それも・・・サイトトラフィックはトップページ含めたサイト全ページの合計であるのに対し、AMPは一部のページだけでこれですから、効果はかなり高いです。
カスタマイズしづらいＡＭＰ
対象のサイトは現在WordpressにプラグインのAMPとPageFrogで表示させています。

ただあまりカスタマイズ出来ないのでこれから更に踏み込んだAMP表示をさせるのであれば、スクラッチでコード書くしかないのかなぁ・・・？と思います。
そんなに簡単に上位表示できるの？
たまたま今回表示されたキーワードに該当するカテゴリのサイトを2つ持っていて、両方で同じような記事を投入していますが、やはり長く大きいサイト側の方しかAMPで表示されていませんでした。
なのである程度のサイトのパワーは必要です。
しかし自然検索結果の1ページ目にはもっと強いサイトがゴロゴロしていて、運営しているサイトではトップページですらランクインが難しい状況なのに、AMPでは記事単位であっさり入りました。
そう考えるとしばらくはAMPの枠を狙っていけば結果的にトラフィックの増強が見込めるかなぁ・・・？と思っています。
