スマホやタブレットの低価格化でここ最近SIMカードを複数枚使うことが多くなって来ました。その度にSIMカードの回線契約をしているとお財布が大変なことに。
使う人は一人ですから低価格で複数枚SIMカード、特にデータSIMを使えるサービスがないかなぁ・・・？と探して今使っているのがエキサイトモバイルのSIMカードサービス。

利用は一人。SIMは複数枚(2枚、3枚)使いたい時に最適なサービス「Exciteモバイル

大手キャリアでは通信料プランはスマホだと基本7GBくらいから20GBなどのギガプランも出てきています。
動画をガンガン見たりしなければなかなかコレだけ使うのは大変・・・。けどお手頃になったタブレットやちょっと使ってみたい中華スマホはあるんですよね・・・。

これらの通信にキャリアのデータ容量が使えればいいのですが、物理的にSIMカードは1枚なので、毎回刺したり抜いたりは無理・・・。最近のnano-SIMだと紛失のリスクもあります。
それなら複数枚SIMカードを使えるサービスがあれば・・・また2枚目以上のSIMは通話サービスやSMSなどは必要無いことが多いです。データ通信だけできれば満足。
これらの条件をまとめると・・・

• 複数枚データSIMが同じ契約で使えるサービス
• 通話できるのは1枚だけでOK
• 使わない時は料金が安くなると嬉しい

これらの条件に合う格安SIMのサービスを探してみましたが、なかなか見つからず・・・僕のアンテナに引っかかってきたのはこれ。

Exciteが提供する「エキサイトモバイル」です。
このサービス、ちょっと分かりづらいですが「好きな枚数SIMが使えて料金はデータ通信量で変動する」サービスです。

料金プランを見てみる

サイトにある「最適料金プラン」からSIM1枚利用と3枚利用の時のそれぞれの料金を見てみましょう。それぞれ「全く使わなかった」「3.5GB使った」「7GB使った」場合にいくらになるか見てみます。

SIM1枚利用の場合

こちらがSIM1枚利用の時の料金。1枚利用の場合は・・・
全く使わなかった：500円
3.5GB使った：1,150円
7GB使った：1,900円
になります。

SIM3枚利用の場合

こちらはSIMを3枚併用した場合。エキサイトモバイルはどのSIMで使ってもデータ通信量は合算なので・・・
全く使わなかった：1,050円
3.5GB使った：1,780円
7GB使った：2,100円
になります。

３枚利用で全く使わなかった場合、１枚あたり350円でキープする感じですね。
キャリア設定と同じ7GB利用のときの料金が2,100円。1端末あたり700円で利用できる、というのは嬉しい限り。

1枚プランと3枚プランの差額を見てみる

1枚プランと3枚プランの差額を表にしてみました。

こうやって見てみると、使えば使うほど差額が縮まっていくのがわかると思います。あえて0MB＝使わない状態を記載していますが、その状態だと3枚プランは1枚350円でキープすることになりますが、7GB使った時点で差額は200円。SIM追加分がちょうど1枚100円という状態。これだったら3枚プランでいい気がします。

こちらは3枚プランの利用量に応じた1枚辺りコスト。こうやって見ると家族で使うのもわからなくはないですね。

実際の利用

僕が今実際使っているのはnano-SIM3枚のプランです。エキサイトモバイルの場合、3枚のSIMそれぞれのサイズ指定や機能（データ通信のみや通話も可能など）指定が出来るのですが、全てデータ通信、nano-SIMで使っています。
nano-SIMにしているのは、最近のスマホはほとんどナノ化している事、中華スマホは結構デュアルSIMでmicroSIMとnanoSIMの両方がOKになっている事が多いため。またmicro SIMをnano SIMにすることはできませんが、nano SIMなら最悪アダプターを履かせて使えるのでそうしています。

この3枚のSIMを・・・Surface 3 SIMとXaiomi Me Max、あと都度試したいスマホ、今はXaiomi Redmi Proに挿しています。
例えばここにiPad SIMフリーなどが入ってきたらXaiomi Redmi Proを外して・・とかがすぐに出来るわけです。

1人で使えるガジェットは1つ

中華スマホやタブレットなどガジェットをたくさん持っていていも、一人で使うなら同時に使える端末は1つだけ。
けどガジェットが増えるごとに回線契約をしていると使えるデータ通信の総容量は増えますが、まず使い切ることは難しいと思います。つまり割高なガジェットライフを送ることになるわけです。
エキサイトモバイルの場合、上記3枚のデータ通信SIMの利用では利用ゼロで1,050円/月、キャリアプラン並にガリガリつかっても7GBで2,100円/月、くらいなのでこういう使い方をしたい人にはそんなに負担も大きくならない料金設定。

3台のSIMフリー端末をいつでも使えるようにスタンバイさせる為に月1,050円、1台350円くらい払うかどうか、というのが微妙なので、強いて言えばある程度使わないと損かも知れませんが・・・。

通信品質

他の格安SIMプロバイダー同様、エキサイトモバイルもドコモネットワークです。といってもビル中などではちょっと通じない事があったりはします。この辺りメインでDoCoMoを使ってないので比較はできませんが、都内だとまぁそんなに困ることはないくらい。
スピードは・・・まだ他のキャリアが強いせいか、逆に速いと思いますｗ

サイトでは家族3人で使った例なども例が表示されていますが、ファミリー向けプランは他社でもあるので、僕の場合はエキサイトモバイルは「一人で複数台SIMを使いたい人向け」として一押しです！
