Duolingoの中国語学習 セクションが終わったら
あいも変わらずDuolingoやってますが、痛感しているのはボキャブラリーは大事、ということ。スペイン語はほんの少しだけ話せる感じが出てきたのですが、話されてる単語がわからないとそこで思考が止まってしまうのでボキャブラリーは大事だと思います。フレーズでもいいのですが。
で、インドネシア語ではRT、リバースツリーで学習している、というエントリを出しましたが、学習したい言語と英語のリバースツリーだと単語テストが使えるんですね。

別途、中国語はDuolingoですでに日本語＝中国語、英語＝中国語が終わってしまい、やりたいけどコースがない、という感じでした。一応スペイン語＝中国語もやってみたのですが。
中国語＝英語のリバースツリーで単語テスト
中国語もボキャブラリーが足りないのでなんとかしたいなぁ、と思ってたのですが、はたと思い出しました。中国語話者向けの英語ツリーがあるじゃないか、と。
やってみたらやはりできました。中国語の発話はないので音はわかりませんが、少なくともボキャブラリーを増やすことはできます。
Duolingoが出している2024のレポートでは、英語学習が一番人気とのこと。
2024年、英語は「世界で最も人気のある言語」に返り咲きました。英語が1位の座を獲得した国の数は過去最高となり、昨年より10％以上増えて135か国となりました。
実際、Duolingo側でもこれまでの英語話者中心のコース充実から、他言語話者向けの英語コース充実にかじを切っている感じがします。色々な言語の英語コースが出てきてます。タガログ語話者向けの英語とかもありました。英語話者向けのタガログ語はないのに。あればやるけど。
ピンイン入力にトライ
さらに中国語では極力ピンインで入力しようと思います。
iOSの場合、設定＞キーボードから該当言語のキーボードを追加すると、Duolingoの回答時に自動的にその言語キーボードに切り替わるので、それでなんとか入力していこう、と。
殆ど覚えてないピンインですが、それを入力することで覚えていけたりするかなー、というところが狙いです。最近アルファベットキーボードをフリックで入力するようにしているのですが、ピンインだとなかなかこれが難しく・・・とはいえ中国人はこれで入力してるんですよね？多分。
