Googleマップの「情報の確認」の闇
Googleローカルガイドとしてw、Googleマップに登録された情報の確認とかもやっていますが、なかなか闇を感じるチェック内容があります・・・。
「情報の確認」というのは、他の方が入力した情報をチェックしていく作業です。Googleマップは集客効果もあると思うので色々な思惑もあると思いますが、見ているとなかなかな内容ですね・・・。
スパムチェック
情報の確認を始めたときに最初に出てきたのがこちら。Googleマップは利用率的にも集客効果があるので、上位表示を目指すMEO(Map Engine Optimization)という概念もあります。Google側でも対策はしていて、怪しい感じの店舗名があるとチェック内容がこういう表示になります。
クレジットカード現金化するなら換金館・・・？
MEO以前にクレジットカード現金化はアウトなので「はい」をポチー！
競合店舗への閉業変更
さらに出てきたのがこういった営業中の店舗を「閉業」にステータスを変えてしまう、というもの。

まぁそもそもが〇貴族みたいな名前なんですが・・・閉業させられようとしてました。こういうの多いですね・・・。
業種の変更。偽装？
別途多いのは風俗関連のお店が、元の業種から別業種に脱皮？しようとしている申請。といってもマップ上で別業種になったところで集客プラスにならないと思うんですがどうなんだろう？
検索履歴が汚染されるのを覚悟でチェックしましたが、〇ナクラって公式サイトに書いてました。
正しい情報の変更例
本当はこういうのが真っ当なんですけどね・・・。こちらはCafe Habana TOKYOの業種の変更。Googleマップの業種はかなり細かいです。
