多言語学習コンテンツを作っています
ふと思い立って多言語学習コンテンツのYouTubeチャンネルを作り始めました。きっかけはDuoLingoでしょうか。DuoLingoで英語以外の言語を超ローコストで始めるきっかけができたことで、今はスペイン語と中国語、またちょろちょろとイタリア語とかを学習していますが、やっているうちに多言語習得の興味がふつふつと湧いてきました。
こんなYouTuberもいらっしゃったりします。
なんと12か国語も話せるそうです。すごい。
YouTubeで学習用の色々な言語の動画を見ながら、今ひとつ自分のニーズにピッタリ来るのがないなぁ、と思っている中、別途chatGPTに色々聞くとpythonで音声合成が極めて簡単にできる、ということがわかりました。
なら自分の学習用の音声ファイルを自分で作ればいいじゃん、けどそれをiPhoneに入れるのが面倒・・・ん？YouTube動画にしてコンテンツにすればYouTubeの一時保存でPodcastみたいに普段から聞けるんじゃない？という流れで、YouTubeの攻略もやったことがないのでちょうどいいかな、と始めたのがこのチャンネルです。
AIで多言語話者に
チャンネルは昔に作ったものを（なんで作ったんだろ）改変して使っています。AI Polyglotとしたのは、例文の生成や動画背景、タイトル・概要作成はchatGPTに、音声合成はpython + gTTS + moviepyを使っていて、なんとなくAIベースでやってる感があったので、AIと多言語話者を意味するPolyglotをくっつけただけです。最初はアイコンもDALL-Eにやってもらったのですがも一つだったのでこれは手動で起こしました。
それ以外もツールを使って基本的には一人大量生産状態を速攻で作っています。開始から１ヶ月経ってないですが既に動画はロングで100を超えてました。再生数は全然ですが。
作成方法はおいおい別のエントリでやろうかな、と思いつつも、とりあえず動画露出を増やしてみたいのもあるのでいくつかはりこみます。
日本語例文にローマ字をつけた英語話者向けの日本語学習コンテンツ。基本的に母語x学習言語の掛け目でコンテンツを作るので途中からサムネイルに左に対象母語、右に学習言語の国旗をつけることにしています。
このサムネイルもいちいち作るのは面倒で、実はMacのKeynoteでテンプレ化してすぐ作ります。Keynoteのテキストのドロップキャップが超便利。
日本語話者向けスペイン語会話文の動画。自分自身は英語xスペイン語のコンテンツを聞いていますが日本の方向けにはこっちかなぁ、ということで。
DuoLingoでは日本では英語の次に人気があるという韓国語のコンテンツ。自分自身は韓国語は2回挫折している状態なのですがニーズがあるなら、ということで。
初めて少しした時点でのAnalyticsでは、日本語話者より海外から日本語を学ぶニーズの方が高そうなのでこういった他国語話者向けも作っています。最近のものはローマ字だけではなく国際音声文字、いわゆる発音記号もつけてみたり、と色々細かいトライアルをしてみています。
ショート動画もやってみたりしながらなかなか増えない登録者を見ていますが、これはこれでまた1つ経験になりそうだな、ということでしばらくやってみます。
