Apple Watch Series 2とiPhone6Sの組み合わせでApplePayを登録しようとしても「このバージョンのiPhoneでは登録出来ません」みたいな事を言われて「なんだよ、やっぱiPhone 7にしないとダメなのかな・・？」と思ってましたが・・・ちょっとやり方を変えるだけであっさりできました。

iPhone6S・Apple Watch 2で三井住友VISAカード・iDをApplePayに登録する方法。
iPhone7がApplePayとSuica対応、という発表と同時に明らかになったApple Watch Series 2でも同様の対応で、iPhone7に買い換えるくらいならApple Watch Series 2を選択した人も多いハズ。特にiPhone6Sユーザー。
けれど最初三井住友VISAがiPhoneのWalletから登録出来ない時点でちょっと諦めてましたが、iDはApple Watchに登録したいな、と思いました。
ということでせっかく三井住友VISAをiD対応のやつに変更して送ってもらったのですが、結局iPhone6SとApple Watch Series 2の組み合わせで使えない・・・。実はちょっとやり方を変えると一発で出来ました！
そもそもiPhoneの「Wallet」では登録できない
ビッグカメラSuica ViewカードはあっさりiPhoneでApple Payに登録できたので、そのやり方で三井住友VISAをApplePay登録しようとしても出来ない・・・。iDにも対応させたいので三井住友VISAでiD対応カードを取り寄せたのですが、それすらNG・・・。
実は、iPhoneで登録しよう、というのが間違ってました。
iOSアプリ「Watch」で登録
やり方は単純。Walletではなく、Watchアプリを立ち上げてそこから登録。
こちらは登録済みですが、カードの下にある「カードを追加」から登録します。
つまり登録はこの画面から。
あとはiPhoneでのApplePay登録と同じようにカードをスキャンしてSMS認証などで確認して完了。
よく考えれば対応しているのはApple Watch
これってよく考えれば当たり前なんですよね・・・。Suica含めたFelicaに対応しているのはiPhone6SじゃなくてApple Watch 2の方。だからiPhoneにApplePay登録をする「Wallet」じゃなくて、Apple WatchでApple Pay登録をするわけです。
・・・ということは、既にWallet登録しているビックカメラViewカードはiPhone6S単体でのApplePay利用が可能、ということか・・・なるほど！
