バリスティックナイロン製のビジネスカジュアルなバッグといえばTumi。スリングバッグを買おうかと思って調べていると、サラトガとモントレーというよくにた2つのモデルがありました。
この違いってなんだろう・・・？

Tumiのサラトガとモントレーの違いって・・？

元々はiPad Proを持ち歩くためにこちらのビアンキのボディバッグを購入しました。

このバッグ、ちゃんとiPadの収納場所はあるんですが、iPad Pro 10.5インチ＋スマートキーボードだとちょっとギュウギュウで、その上厚みがないのでそんなに入らないのがちょっと不満になっていました。
もうちょっと別の収納力高いやつないかな・・・？と思っていたら、こういう記事を発見。キャベツまで入るTumiのサラトガ。

あー、見たことあるある、と思いながら調べてみると・・・あれ？Tumi 222393のサラトガもあるけど、よく似たモントレーというのもあるなぁ・・・？と。

Tumiの日本の公式サイトを見ると、既にモントレーはなく、サラトガのみラインナップされています。

Tumiは並行輸入品があちこちで売っているのでそのショップのスペックを見ながら、サラトガとモントレーの違いを書き出してみました。
こちらが比較表。

ブランクなのはわからなかったところです。
これを見る限りだと違いはないですね・・・てっきりiPad用のポケットの有無だと思ったのですが、どうやら名前を変えただけっぽい。
ECサイトでは旧モデルのモントレーは2.3万円くらい、新モデルのサラトガは2.5万円くらいからあるようです。
さらにこのモデルは相当売れたみたいで・・・廉価版モデルがいくつかありました。

こちらはフォルムはまんま、ロゴはちょっとビクトリノックスなYBJのモデル。この価格はちょっとそそられますね。
ホントに収納だけで考えるならこちらのほうがコスパは絶対にいいですね。

フォルムまんまで本皮使用のBOSTANTENというバッグ。横24cm×縦34cm×マチ11cm　重さ735g、ということでこちらもサイズは同等。
本皮なのにTumiより軽いのがちょっと・・・？

どれにするかしばらく考えよっと。
