カーボンエアロハンドルバーにGoProマウントを付ける
今乗っているCanyon Ultimateのハンドルバーはステム一体型です。前のCannondale Caad13のときからライド中の写真撮影用にGoPro（厳密にはDJI Osmo Action）をつけているのですが、Canyonに乗り換えて困ったのがこのハンドルへのGoProマウント取り付けでした。
一般的によくあるマウント部分が円型のマウントは使えないので、キャットアイのブラケットにGoProの樹脂製の台座パーツをビスで固定して使っていました。
それが・・・やはり振動のせいかブルベ前に台座のネジ周りがポッキリ。まぁ仕方がないですね。とりあえずキャットアイのブラケットのようなストラップ型でハンドルを締めるタイプのものはカーボンにもそんなに影響ない、というのが分かったのですが、代替品が見つからない。
ふとよく考えると、愛用しているライトのOlight RN1500のマウントはストラップでGarminです。これにGarmin＝GoProをつければ・・・？
探してみるとありました。
Olightのマウント部分だけ別売りで。僕の場合は余っていたRN1500付属のものを流用しました。
このマウント、ストラップの長さが選べるのでエアロもギリいけました。手でしめるキャットアイのブラケットと違ってネジ締めでトルクがかかるのでそれに気をつけながら締め込みます。また事前に取り付け部分に滑り止めのビニールテープを巻いておきます。
GoPro側はこちらを使います。
便利だけどちょっとお高いレックマウントのGarmin＝GoProマウント。コネクタ部分は金属製なのでこちらが折れる危険性は低いです。一度テストランで確実についているか確認して600ブルベでいきなり使いました。実際に取り付けているのがこれ。
こちらが前から見た状態です。この状態にするとシャッターを押すだけでライド中の写真が安全に撮影できます。
こちらが後ろ側。若干ぐらつきを感じることもありますが全く問題なく600キロ走れました。Olightのストラップの下にちょっとヨレたビニールテープも見えると思います。
副次的にカメラの取り外しがGarminマウントでひねるだけになったので楽になりました。
ライド動画を取るなら下側につけるで問題ないのですが僕は静止画を撮る目的でつけているのでこの形でつくのが大事でした。参考になれば。
