他社ももっと作って欲しい、コンセント付きモバブー(モバイルバッテリー)
モバイルバッテリーって色んな種類が各社から出ていますが、意外にないのが「コンセント付き」。
僕が知っている限りではAnker PowerCore Fusion 5000くらいかなぁ・・・？
これ、ゴツいんですけど何が便利って、出先にスマホなどのガジェット用の充電器持っていく必要が無いんですよ。
コレ自体がコンセントプラグから充電可能なので。
そういう意味では旅のお供として最適じゃないかな？と思っています。
実際こういうニーズは多いようで、発売されたときに速攻売り切れた記憶があります。けどそれ以降Ankerもこのラインを拡充する気配もなく・・・cheeroとか他の大手も出さないんですよね・・・。やっぱりニーズ無いのかな・・？
そんな中、Amazonで久々にプラグ付きモバブーが出ていました。それもmicroUSB/lightning/USB-Cのケーブル付き。
OMKUYって・・なんて読むんだろう・・・？オムクイ、らしいですけど・・・。
Ankerが出てきてから、ちょっと名前の似たAukeyというメーカーが出てきて、さらにそれに似た感じの・・・？という気もしないでもないですが・・ｗ
OMKUYのモバイルバッテリーの利点
とりあえずこのOMKUYのコンセント付きバッテリーでいいところ、なんですが、10,000mAhという結構な大容量もさることながら、microUSB、USB-C、Lightningというミニプラグ全部が格納されているところ。
ちょうど今この辺の充電用ミニプラグ系規格はmicroUSBからUSB-Cへの移行時期で、別途AppleもLightningからUSB-Cに変更しますよ、という時期です。なので面倒なんですが手持ちのガジェットもこの3規格、Lightning/microUSB/USB-Cが混在している状態です。
それらのガジェットを同時に充電できるのにケーブルの持ち運びがいらない、というのは大きなメリット。
まぁ断線するとどうする？というのはありますが・・・ｗ
それよりもこの形状、実は旅先で使うときにコンセントタップに干渉して挿せないケースや挿せてもガジェットが宙吊りになる可能性は多分にあるので別途こういうミニ延長は必要になる気はします。
実際に旅先で使ったときがこんな感じです。
色々なガジェットの充電ハブ化しているのが判りますか・・・？とりあえず1つのコンセントからLightningでiPhone、microUSBでデジカメ、USB-CでGoPro、という風に充電できるのは助かります。
写真の時はiPhoneと中華iQos互換の電子タバコとジンバルですね。
このまま寝れば朝には全部フル充電。旅行でこの差は大きいです。
モバブーってなんだ？
気軽にモバブーモバブーと言ってますが、そもそもモバブーの「モバ」はモバイルだとして、「ブー」は何だ？という疑問が浮かびました。モバイルブースターの略なんですね。モバイルバッテリーの場合はモババ、というそうです。そっちは言わないなぁ・・・。
