Amazon Kindle FireHD 8のロック画面の広告オフ
Amazon Kindle（なのかなぁ・・・？）の８インチタブレット、FireHD 8は超お手頃価格のタブレットですね。
通常でも8,980円と１万円を切る価格のタブレットで、タイムセールなどではこれが５千円台になったりと超お買得なお値段になります。
スペックは高くはないのですが、Fire TV Stickとの連携だったり電子書籍の閲覧性だったり、microSDで容量拡張ができたり、とサブで使ったり子供に使わせたり、という点では非常に手頃な価格です。
そのかわりといってはなんですが・・・使わないときのロック画面が常に広告が表示される、という仕様。安いとはいえちょっといただけない。
このFire HD 8のロック画面の広告をオフにする方法を説明しておきます。

結構深い階層にこっそり設定があります。とりあえず歯車アイコンの設定を開きます。
設定
ここは「アプリと通知」を選択します。アプリと通知って・・・その階層の奥にロック画面広告オフがあるとはなかなか思わないですね。ディスプレイとかを普通は見てしまいそう。

アプリと通知の階層からは「Amazonアプリの設定」をタップ。ここはあまり見ない階層なんじゃないかなぁ？と思います。

Amazonアプリケーションの設定の中に、やっとそれっぽい「キャンペーン情報」という項目が出てきました。こちらをタップ。

やっとそれらしき画像とともに設定ページが出てきました。「ロック画面のキャンペーン情報」の横にトグルスイッチがあります。これをオフにします。
すると確認画面が出てくるので「オフ」に。トグルスイッチで確認アラートが出るあたりにささやかな抵抗を感じましたｗ
設定完了
これでロック画面を見てみると、やっとなんの変哲もないAndroidっぽいロック画面になりました。もちろんこの壁紙の内容は変更可能なので、好きなロック画面にしてみてください。
