名古屋旅行の宿として、昨年できたばっかりのフォーポイントバイシェラトン 中部国際空港セントレアに宿泊してきました。車なのにｗ

フォーポイントバイシェラトン 中部国際空港セントレア
マリオットグループのフォーポイントバイシェラトンブランドで2018年11月に開業した「フォーポイントバイシェラトン 中部国際空港セントレア」。場所はホントにセントレアの近く、つまり出島の中です。

このプロペラはいったい・・・？足元になんか注釈書いてましたが読むの忘れました。
建物外観はこんな感じ。

予約した部屋はスタンダードのキングベッドでしたが、一応アップグレードしてくれたとのこと。プレミアム、ってやつになってたのかもしれません。
着いたのが夜だったので夜の部屋の写真です。めちゃくちゃ広い、というわけではなく、かといって窮屈なわけでもなく・・・くらい。
壁面の配線隠しもこんな風になんか雰囲気を出してます。
部屋の雰囲気は基本的に若々しい感じですね。調度品もこんな感じです。
イームズのアルミナムのファブリック・・・？リプロダクトな気もします。
コンセント回りにはUSB挿入口が付いてるあたり今風ですね。その割にはスタンドの電灯などはすべてマニュアルでオンオフです。
トイレ回り。ビジネスホテルにありがちなユニットにバストイレ一緒、というのではないのでちょっとだけ安堵しました。
浴槽はこんな感じのユニットバス。シャワーのところにある黒い物体は洗い場用の椅子ですが、多分無印良品のポリスタッキングチェアだと思います。（確かめなかった）
眺望とやら。といっても埋め立て地にポツンとあるホテルなので更地と海しか見えません。

こちらのレストランは2階にあります。席数は充分な感じですが、朝食はオペレーション的にギリギリでちょっと列ができていました。基本いわゆるバイキング形式で、普通のビジネスホテルなどよりちょっと内容が上かな、という感じの内容。
みんな大好きなシェフのオムレツもありますよ。
個人的にはヌードルバーがあるといいな、と思いました。
このレストラン、壁面のアートは地元のアーティストが描かれたそうです。シェフが教えてくれました。
フォーポイントバイシェラトン名古屋 中部国際空港に泊まってみて
車で名古屋に行っていくつか回ろう、という小旅行の宿泊の足場として予約したのですが、デメリットは単純で名古屋中心部から外れた常滑市、というロケーションと、空港の行き来が有料道路な点、というところです。
まだオープン３か月も経ってないので当然きれいですし、建物の作りとしてはかなりおしゃれな感じで作っています。例えばエレベーターの床面は1階のフロアパターンと合わせていたり、とか。
これ面白いでしょ？上階は廊下がカーペットなのでこうならないのですが、最初入ってきたときのインパクト、というのはかなり高いです。
インスタ映えするホテル、という意味ならおススメです。パッと取るだけでこんな風な写真が撮れたりします。

また、ファシリティとしては意外にもホテル内にちょっとした飲み物・スナックの売店があるのと、ロビーの奥はバーなのでちょっとした飲食には困らないので助かります。
コンビニについても向かいのホテルが東横インで１Fにセブンイレブンが入っているので、そこにいけばたいていの物は調達できます。まぁ向かいの東急インは中国人観光客でごった返していますが・・・。
室内のテレビの下からはHDMIのケーブルが出ているので接続対応機器だと大画面に映して鑑賞することも可能です。
写真はAmazonのFire TV Stickですが、これでiPhoneから画面共有をして撮った写真を見る、というのが実はちょっと難易度が高くて・・・ホテルによくある有線LANがなくて無線LANのみ、というのも関係しています。これについてはこちらのエントリでご覧ください。
愛知県は高速道路がかなり整備されているので、中心部への行き来だけ我慢できればたいていのところは対して時間かからずに行けます。ホテルの価格も場所がらなのか、マリオットグループの割にはお手頃（なので泊まりました）なので、よほど時間がタイトでなければ検討リストに入れてみてもいい気がします。
