Yahoo!地図でモノクロ(白黒)地図が出力できる！
スマホの普及のおかげで最近あまり地図をプリントアウトすることもなくなった気がしますが、この時期学校へ子供の通学路の保護者提出などで必要なこともあるそうです。そのなかでYahoo!地図が白黒（モノクロ）出力が可能、ということですごく便利だ、というツイートがありました。

なるほど・・・これは便利そうですね。さっそく試してみました。
白黒出力可能なYahoo!地図
では実際に渋谷駅から東急百貨店本店のルートをYahoo!地図で出力してみましょう。
Yahoo!地図で渋谷駅から東急百貨店本店へのルート検索をした結果がこちら。
使い慣れてないせいか出発地と目的地の入力がスムーズにできなかったのですが、表示された結果を見るとルートの勾配とかも出ていたりでなかなか便利そうですね。
地図レイヤーからモノトーンを選択
白黒にする方法は簡単でした。右上の「地図」のボタンを押すと表示レイヤーが選べます。この辺りはGoogleマップと同じなのですが、地図の種類が凄くたくさんありました。その中に「モノトーン」という選択肢が。
モノトーンを選択すると一気に地図が白黒になりました。確かにこれは見やすいかも。
紙出力もヘッダ右にあるプリンタアイコンから可能です。こんな感じで出力されるようです。
渋谷駅が階層表示になっているので一部カラーになっていますが、ルートの部分は一気に見やすい白抜きの地図に変わりました。これなら確かにプリントアウトでも見やすい地図になりそう。
白黒地図をサイトの埋め込み可能？
さらに面白いのはこのモノトーンの地図をそのままWebにEmbed、埋め込みができるようです。形式はPC向け、スマホ向けと自動検出から選べます。パソコン用は見ていた地図のまんまですね。
スマホ向けはマーカーが小ぶりになったのと一応固定地図になるようです。
実際に自動検出のタグを埋め込んでみました。Webサイトに白黒地図を埋め込み、というのは変な感じですが目立ちますね。場合によっては本当に白黒の方が使えるケースもありそう。
白黒地図のシェア
埋め込みが可能、ということは当然シェアも出来ます。相手に送るときに白黒地図を送る、というのは・・・インパクトあるなぁ・・。
短縮URLも提供されていますね。
Googleマップに押されてるかと思っていたYahoo!地図も追いかける側として色々機能拡充しているんですねぇ。
