プライオリティパスで必ずラウンジが使えるとは限らない
海外旅行の渡航先の空港でちょっと一息ついたり一杯飲んだりするのに便利なプライオリティパス。
世界中のラウンジと提携しているのでこういった利用が可能になっています。
プラチナカードなどのクレジットカードでは無料でプレステージのプライオリティパスが付与されたりするので利用されている方も多いと思います。
楽天プレミアムカードなどでは年会費1万円（税別）で無料付与されたりするのでホルダーも増えているのでは？
必ずしもラウンジ利用できるとは限らない？
さて、ラウンジを満喫する気マンマンでいざ空港についてラウンジに向かっても、カード付帯のプライオリティパスではラウンジが利用できないこともあるようです。
これからの旅行シーズン、万が一の時に慌てないように事前にどういう時にプライオリティパスが使えないかおさらいしておいたほうがよさそうです。

昨日、スワンナプーム国際空港のエールフランスのラウンジ、プライオリティパスで利用出来なかった。
ダイナースその他でも利用不可とのこと。
どうやら混雑で本来の利用者優先になってたっぽい。

恐らく上級会員が優先されてるか不明ですが、混雑時はプライオリティパス保持者はラウンジ制限かけられますね。やはりスタッフはいつも同じ方なんですねw 余談ですが、カップ麺（どん兵衛）に群がる乞食に対し、すぐに補給するスタッフの様は見ていて面白いですよw

国内ではセントレアでも
国内にはプライオリティパスのみが利用できるラウンジ、というのはあまりありません。カード会社が共同で準備しているカードラウンジでプライオリティパスを利用することは可能ですが、カード付帯のプライオリティパスであれば、元のクレジットカードでラウンジが使えることがほとんどなのでわざわざ使う理由もありませんね。
数少ない国内空港のプライオリティパスのみの利用ラウンジの中で、中部国際空港セントレアのラウンジではカード付帯のプライオリティパスでは入場が出来ないケースが希にあるようです。

各クレジットカード会社が競ってプライオリティパスを無料付与した影響なのか、ラウンジの混雑度合いも以前より増しているようですね。またプライオリティパスがあればいつでもラウンジが無料で利用できる、と勘違いしたユーザーが増えているのか、こういう掲示をしているところも。

関西国際空港、関空にあるお好み焼きのぼてじゅうのようですね。関空のぼてじゅうは商業施設内にあるので他のラウンジのように検査場後ではなく自由に出入りできる場所にあります。そのせいかいつでも無料で飲食できる、と勘違いする人が増えているよう。基本的にラウンジ利用ではプライオリティパスと搭乗券の提示が必要です。
もともとラウンジはフライトの前にゆっくりするための場所なので、フライトの搭乗証明としてチケットが必要なわけですね。搭乗券なしの人があまりに増えたのでこういう措置になったのだと思われます。
プライオリティパスラウンジ入室拒否の対策は？
さて・・・せっかくプライオリティパスを使おうとしてもラウンジ入室拒否された場合はどうすればいいんでしょうか？
そもそも混まない時間に行く、というのが1つの方法ですね。
同じ便に乗った先月はスタアララウンジが混雑でプライオリティパスお断りされたけど、今回は早めに来て入れてもらえたｗ

空港にもよりけりですが、海外の空港ではプライオリティパスが利用できるラウンジが同じターミナル内にも複数あることが多いです。
1つのラウンジで受け入れ不可だったとしても、そのラウンジがわかりやすい場所やアクセスしやすい場所で混雑している可能性もあるので、こうやって別のラウンジに向かうと使えるケースもあるようです。
くれぐれもラウンジに長く居すぎて肝心のフライトに遅れたりすることの無いように・・・。
