Googleマップの写真未投稿の場所を簡単に見つける方法
Googleマップでローカルガイドのバッジ獲得にはよく見られる場所に写真を投稿していくのも重要です。ローカルガイドのレベルには直接関係ないのですが、こちらのバッジで写真マスターなどの要件に投稿写真が見られた回数の条件があります。

この「投稿した写真が見られやすい所」という場所については以前記事を書いています。
そして見られやすい場所の中の1つに、まだ写真が投稿されていない所、というのがあり、僕はこれまでGoogleマップで適当に見ながら、写真未投稿だとスターをつけたりしてマークしていました。そして現地に行って写真を撮っては投稿してスターを消す、という地道な作業。
ところが・・・もっと簡単に写真未投稿の場所を見つける方法がありました。
ストリートビューアプリだと一目瞭然
本題に入る前に別の話になりますが、最近Googleストリートビューの認定フォトグラファーになりました。

認定フォトグラファーとはGoogleストリートビューを人から委託して作成・公開していいストリートビューの資格みたいなものです。まぁ代行しようとは思ってないのですが、Googleに認定される、というのなら、と思って規定数のストリートビューをアップしました。そして・・・認定されたわけです。
このストリートビューをアップするためにGoogleから「ストリートビュー」というアプリが出ています。
このアプリでは、Googleがストリートビューをアップして欲しい場所、候補地を表示させることができます。
渋谷界隈をストリートビューアプリで表示させてみます。上のタブから「投稿する」を選ぶとGoogleがストリートビュー用の360度写真をアップして欲しい場所が一覧表示されます。
スクロールアップすると・・・こんなふうな表示に。「1日の推定表示回数」とかも出てきますね。そして・・・アイコンと赤地になっている場所は・・・そう、ここの場所はストリートビューはおろか、まだ普通の写真ですらアップロードされていない所なんですね。
グレー表示のところはこの限りではないようですが・・。
ではこの赤で表示されている「宮川 本廛」（みやがわ ほんてん）を見てみましょう。ちなみにこれで「本廛」がほんてん、と読むと知りましたｗ
おおっ！Googleマップの場所の詳細を見てみると、やはり表示する写真がない時にでる「写真を追加」が表示されました。
さらにストリートビューアプリの候補地の宮川の下に表示されていた「トータル・ワークアウトカフェ」も検索してみると・・・？
こちらも写真なし。トータルワークアクト自体はジムでも有名なので写真はあるのですが、多分そこにあるカフェは・・・盲点みたいですね。
ストリートビューの表示回数予想がどちらも1日130回だそうなので、ここに写真（ストリートビューでなくてよい）を撮りに行ってアップすれば1日130回は表示される可能性が・・・!?
実際にはストリートビューの360度写真よりも普通の写真のほうが表示回数は多いので、この予想数値が正しければもっと表示されます。これは・・・僕も今更ながら気づきました。
この予想表示回数の精度も気になるので、どこかでこういった場所を撮影してアップして確認してみようと思います。
ストリートビューアプリは本来は360度対応のカメラと連携してストリートビューを作成・公開するためのアプリなのですが、こんな使い方も出来るとは・・・驚きました。
