ネットを色々見ていたら、LINEが引っ越ししたので中を拝見、という記事がありました。内容は楽しいのですが、記事中にある「社員食堂でLINE Payが使える」という下りでちょっと気になることが。

LINE Payが使えるLINEの社員食堂

引っ掛かったのはこのくだり。
こちらは100円のサラダバーと、300円のカレーや丼もの、更にスープストックが300円で買えてしまうというコーナー。決済もLINE Payでサッと出来て超便利。
LINEの社員がLINE Pay使うのはいいことだと思います。それにはなんの異論もありません。
けど福利厚生として考えるんだったら、別の仕組みで給与天引きにしてあげたほうがなおいいんじゃないの？と思ったわけです。
LINE Pay支払いは税引き後所得じゃない？
LINE Pay、僕は使ってないですが、要はあれでしょ？Suicaとか楽天Edyとかあぁいう電子マネー。違うのかな・・・？
もしくはiDやPayPalみたいなカード直結の簡易支払い機能みたいなの。
で、LINEの社員さんは自分の給与でLINE Payを使うんですけど、それって税引き後のその人の所得なわけです。
文中にあるような「300円のカレーや丼もの」を給与税込み月30万円、年収360万円（ボーナスない!）の人として考えます。
所得税はこのレンジだと20％（マジ!?）だそうですが、単純化してこれだけが税金だとして考えると、30万円の給与で6万円税金で、24万円の手取りでこの人は暮らしています。
そこから300円のカレーを月20営業日朝昼晩と食べると1日900円、月1.8万になり、手取りの7.5%になります。
これを給与天引きにしてあげると・・・・30万円から1.8万天引きされて28.2万円。これに20%税額で手取りが22万5600円。上の手取りから1万4400円減っています。
・・・が、食費は先に引いたので残りは丸々使えるわけです。
元々の1.8万から1.44万で割り戻すと・・・1.25。つまり税引き後の手取りから払うと天引きに比べて25%割高だ、ということですね。
まぁ多分税務署がうるさい
じゃぁこれにすればいいじゃない、という話なのですが、問題が数点あって・・・
- 見かけの所得を減らしているので脱税っぽい
- 途中入社の人が天引き原資がない場合がある（給与締め日に入社した人など）
- 所得から払うのであれば使う上限は決まるが、天引きだとマイナスになるまで使い切る可能性もある
とかとかこの辺もあって駄目なんだろうなぁ・・・と思うんですが、そこは頑張ってなんとかやってあげると「安く食べれて」「手取りも多い」と従業員満足度は凄く上がるんじゃないかなぁ・・？と。
まぁ絶対ダメな理由あるんでしょうけど・・・なかなかこの「税引き前で払う」「税引き後で払う」の違いって普段の感覚だと気にしないので、あえて書いてみました。
