たまにTwitterのキャプチャを貼って「こんなツイートしてた！」みたいな記事を見かけますが、簡単に捏造できるので信用しないほうがいいよ、って話です。

ブラウザ表示のキャプチャなんて簡単に捏造できる
前に書いた記事でこんなのがありました。

要はブラウザの開発者ツールで簡単に書き換えできるので、キャプチャなんかは簡単に捏造できますよ、という話です。
今回はTwitterでやってみましょう。元のツイートはこれです。

このツイートはTwitterのembed、埋め込みを使っているので捏造は不可能ですが・・・キャプチャだと・・・？
はい、できました。
開発者ツールを使ってテキストと画像を書き換えただけです。
画像はTwitterのものでないと表示されないようになっていました。そのへんはTwitterちゃんとしてるんですね。
けどこれで見た目2,500RTの30,000いいねのTwitter公式ツイートが出来上がりです。画像サイズがずれてますけど・・ｗ
ピッタリしたのを自分で投稿して貼ればOK。
元のツイートが削除されていなければそちらを見ればフェイクとわかりますが、削除したあとだったりすると埋め込みコードも普通の引用として表示されるので、こんな感じに書き換えておくとさらにそれっぽい。

これも単純で埋め込みタグのハッシュをhttps://t.co/j97g551KGgかhttps://t.co/j97g551KGaに、ツイートのURLもhttps://twitter.com/Twitter/status/1067955850931855361からhttps://twitter.com/Twitter/status/1067955850931855362に、ちょっと変えておくだけ。
元のツイートが残っていれば手間をかけて探すことも可能ですが、消してしまうと復活できないのでさもこれが元のツイートだったかのような感じに見えます。
埋め込みだと消されると画像が見れなくなる、とかいろいろ理由はあるんでしょうが、公式のEmbedタグで表示させるのは、別の意味でちゃんとそのツイートがされている証拠でもある、ってことですね。
