他サイトのトラフィックが見れるとされるサイトSimilarwebにやっとこのサイトが載りました。

Similarwebにやっと載った。他サイトと比較してみる。
Similarwebというサイトがあります。Webマーケッターならご存知だとは思いますが、他のサイト、特に競合サイトのトラフィックや検索ワードが見れる、という触れ込みで一時期すごく流行りました。ですがデータの信憑性に疑問符がついて一過性のブームで終った感が・・・。有料だとデータも超高い、というのもあるでしょう。
有料版は使ったことないのですが、個人でサイト運営をガッチリやる時は結構無料利用していました。
測定が甘かろうが正確じゃなかろうが、他のサイトも同じようにブレてるんだったら結果的に比較には使えるよね、ということで。
まぁ実際はサイトによっての偏差も高い、ということなんですが、じゃぁそれ以外に手っ取り早く他のサイトのトラフィックを見る方法があるの？という点で愛用しています。
そうやって掲載されるようになったfreesim.tokyoのSimilarwebのデータはこちら。
ぼーっとしてると消えちゃうこともあるので消えないように頑張らないと・・・ｗ
SimilarWebのデータ
このトップに出てくるランキングの内容は、全世界（というかSimilarWebが持ってるデータ全部）内でのトラフィックランキングが「グローバル」で、このサイトは2019年1月時点では2,510,243位。つまりその他大勢です。
そのうち国で分けたのが「国」で、日本国内だと168,407位。いやー、有象無象ですね。
「カテゴリ」はもっと大きいサイトになると自動的に割り振られますが、N/Aのうちは弱小サイトです。過去ガッチリやってたサイトはこれを月次で見ながら他サイトの動向をスプレッドシートにメモってました。
やってたサイトのカテゴリは全世界対象でもあったので、海外のトップサイトも軒並み確認しながらサイト運営していました。記憶では大体毎月19日くらいに前月データが出たんじゃなかったかなぁ・・・？
当時やってたサイトは小さいカテゴリがテーマだったのでそう大きなトラフィックにはならなかったのですが、だからこそSimilarWebの比較は役に立ちました。
他のサイトと無理やり比較してみる
さてこのサイトfreesim.tokyoはテーマもフラフラしながらのフリーテーマなので、比較するべき競合サイト、というものがありません。フリーのブロガーさんとかはアリでしょうが、比べるべくもない規模なので・・・比較的よく扱っているAIRSIM関連で比較してみました。
香港AIRSIMとの比較
こちらが香港のAIRSIMとの比較です。やはりグローバルで使われているクラウドSIMだけあってグローバルで281,452位。10倍の開きがありました。まぁ当たり前。
国は香港と日本で違うので比較はできませんでした。1つ気になるのが香港AIRSIMもまだカテゴリがついてないっぽい所。グローバルで28万位くらいだとつかないのかぁ・・・。
日本のAIRSIMとの比較
実は全く触れてこなかったのですが、日本にもAIRSIMというSIMカードがあります。
ゲームで遊ぶと通信料が無料になる、というモデルのようです。ちょっとよく分からなかったのと、香港AIRSIMと名前が被ってややこしいのでこれまで一切取り上げて来ませんでした。
こちらが比較してみた所。
やや、意外にも・・・トラフィック全然ないですね・・・。商用でやっているにも関わらず国内445,190位・・・。これは儲かってない気がします・・・。
SimilarWebの他の機能
SimilarWebの機能としては他にも検索キーワードの類推だったり、トラフィックがどこから来ているのか、の類推だったり、1訪問者辺りのPV等々、色々出てきます。データの正確性は検証のしようが無かったですが、ソーシャルに強い強豪サイトはやはりそのデータが出ていたり、自分ところはそりゃこうなるよね、というデータでそれなりに信憑性はありました。
その時の体験からか、未だにGoogle Chromeの拡張機能にSimilarWebを入れていて、「あれ？このサイトって結構でかい？」とか思うとすぐに確認したりしています。
あくまで参考値として使う分には問題ないので興味のある方はどうぞ。
