マリオットの各ブランドのカテゴリを調べるのって結構大変ですね。
全世界のマリオットのホテルには1～8までのカテゴリが振られています。このカテゴリでマリオットの宿泊必要ポイントが分かるようになっています。
が、これを1つ1つホテルごとに調べるのは面倒・・・ということで、有志がGoogleマイマップに全世界のすべてのマリオットのホテルをマッピングしてくれました。
カテゴリごとにレイヤーに分けてくれているのでわかりやすいです。

あと日本で眺めていると、カテゴリ4未満のホテルがないのもわかってしまいました。
カテゴリ1なんてあるの？と思いきや・・・世界全体でいえばこんなにあるのも一目瞭然。
ポチポチやりながらどこに行こうかこれ見ながら考えるのも楽しそうですね。
