エアアジアで座席指定を事前にせずにWebチェックイン時の自動設定に任せてみた場合、1人や2人、3人の場合はどうなるか試しました。

エアアジアで座席指定なし、1人・2人・3人自動アサインはどうなる？
エアアジアなどのLCCでは座席指定は有料なことが多いですが、せっかくLCC利用で倹約しているので余計な出費は出来るだけ抑えたい・・・。去年3人でエアアジアの座席指定なし、Webチェックイン時の自動設定がどんなふうになるかをやってみました。
今年もまたエアアジアに乗るのですが、変則的な渡航でうまい具合に1人の時、2人の時、3人の時、というサンプルが取れました。
Webチェックインの時間を変えても自動指定の席は変わらない？
基本的にエアアジアの場合、有料の座席指定をしないままWebチェックインができる期間に入ると自動的に座席がアサインされます。以前は自動アサインされた席が気に入らない場合、暫く経って、恐らく他の人の自動アサインを消化してから再度試すと席が変わる、と言われていたのですが、今回最大2日くらい待ってみましたがアサインされた席は変わらずでした。
エアアジアの場合Webチェックインは通常14日前より、と案内されていますが、今回全然そんなことはなく、1週間前くらいでした。多分システムが変わったか繁忙期なので別ルール適用されているのですが、Webの更新が追い付いてないのだと思われます。
エアアジア座席指定自動設定 1人の場合
1人の分だけ・・すみません、キャプチャ取り忘れました。混雑している便だったのでわかりやすいくらい3列シートの真ん中になっていました。
エアアジア座席指定自動設定 2人の場合
大抵のエアアジア機は3列シートｘ2か3列シートｘ3です。なので2人の場合の自動アサインはどうなるか、というのが非常に気になる所ですね。
こちらがWebチェックインの自動アサイン時の座席です。3列中央ラインの所に横並びで配置されていました。
ちなみにこれは成田＝ドンムアン、NRT=DMKなんですが、混雑路線なのと航路が長いせいか、座席指定料金が高いですね・・。普通の席で1,929円です。そしてすでに結構ふさがっている状態。ホットシートは6,489円/席なので2人移動だと1万円超えるんですね・・。
こちらは別の便。ドンムアン＝プーケット、DMK=HKTの便です。フライスルーで取れています。
こちらは・・・窓際から2人。通路側を抑えたい人にとってはちょっと微妙な選択。ですが短い路線で座席指定が420円と安いので、A列の人をC列に入れ替えると思った通りの座席になります。
今は空いていますがこの便は満員になると思うので早目に抑えたほうがいいかもですね。
エアアジア座席指定自動設定 3人の場合
前回も確認した3人でのWebチェックイン自動設定の座席。なんと今回は・・・何気に1人だけ前の列に。
それもなんとこの前に1人だけアサインされているのは・・・子供なんです。なのでエアアジアのWebチェックインは座席自動設定時に年齢を見ていない、年長者と横並びにする配慮はしない、というのがはっきりしました。
