Fire HD 8にコンテンツ使い放題・故障交換無料のキッズモデルが登場
AmazonのKindleタブレット、Fire HD 8は価格も1万円以下でお手頃なタブレットとして人気がありますが、このFire HD 8に学びや遊びのコンテンツが使い放題のプラン「Amazon FreeTime Unlimited」を1年バンドル、ブルー・ピンクのケースをつけて破損交換が2年間無料、も付加した「Fire HD 8タブレット キッズモデル」が2019年3月19日から販売開始です。価格は14,800円。
カラーは2色。ピンクとブルー。といっても付属のケースの色なんですが。
Amazon FreeTime Unlimited
Amazonが提供しているデジタルコンテンツ、絵本や学習漫画、児童書やキッズ向けアプリ、ゲーム、ビデオ等々が使い放題のプラン。Fire HD 8キッズモデルには最初の1年間の権利がバンドルされるようです。
1年後には有料プランに切り替えですが、プライム会員の場合は月額480円から、一般会員は980円からとのこと。
子供が使う期間は有限なので、まずは1年気にせず使える、というのはいいですね。
破損・故障交換保証
破損・故障による2年間の限定交換保証が付くそうです。適用されるケースは限定だと思いますが、それでも保証付きは安心感ありますね。2年たつと・・・Fire HD 8のスペックだと厳しい気もしますし。
ペアレンタルコントロール
Amazon FreeTime内のペアレンタルコントロール機能を使って、利用時間の制限、学習タイムの設定、コンテンツの管理が可能とのこと。
またFire HD 8は元からmicroSDスロットがあるので、コンテンツの保存容量をmicroSDで増加させることができます。なので旅行などの時に山ほど動画コンテンツを持っていく、などの利用も可能です。
