facebookログインのGrabPayにカード情報を記憶させる方法
東南アジアで超便利なライドシェア、Grabですが、Grabアプリで1つだけ面倒だな、と思っていたのがGrabPay、支払方法のクレジットカードの記憶。これはfacebookログインと併用している時特有の問題かも知れません。
facebookログイン利用のGrabPay
使い方にもよるのかも知れませんが、僕はGrabはfacebookログインで使っています。というのも、東南アジアの各国、タイやミャンマー、ベトナムなどではたびたびおススメしているAIRSIMを使っているので、Grabのメインのログイン方式になる電話番号ログインが使えないからです。AIRSIMについてはこちらをどうぞ。
AIRSIMに限らず、現地SIMを購入して使う場合もこの電話番号の問題は出てくると思います。国によってSIMを差し替えしていると当然電話番号はその度に変わります。Grab自体はサービス提供国なら同じアカウントが使えて、利用に応じてGrab Rewardなどの継続利用ボーナスもあるので、毎回Grabに登録する、というのは非効率ですね。
そうすると画一的にログインするためにfacebookログインなどサードパーティの認証方式を使う事になります。GrabではfacebookログインとGoogleアカウントのログインが使えるようですが、東南アジアは別途facebookの利用率が高い所でもあるので、それならfacebookログインの方がわかりやすいでしょう。facebookメッセンジャーの通話とかも併用することも多いですし。
ところがfacebookログインを利用していると（多分Googleアカウントでのログインも）、登録したはずのクレジットカード情報が、ログインセッションが切れて再ログインしたときに無くなってしまう、という問題があるようです。
昨年これに悩まされたまま日本に帰って、今年また使ってみると同じ状態なのでこれは仕様だと思います。決済情報を持ち続けない、という意味では、年に何度もGrabサービス地域に来ない日本からの渡航者にとってはセキュリティ的にはいい仕組みかもですが、毎日のようにカード情報を入力するのも別の意味で危険ですね。
これって何とかならないかなぁ・・・と思っていたら、意外に簡単な方法で登録したクレジットカード情報が保存されるようになりました。ちなみにGrabは日本を含むサービス非提供地域からはクレジットカード情報の登録は出来ない仕様ですので、渡航したときにでもこの方法を思い出してください。
Grab Payへのクレジットカード情報保持の設定
意外なところの設定でGrabアプリへの登録クレジットカード情報の保持ができるようになります。それは・・・6桁のPINコードを登録するだけ。
メニューの「Account」の中にある「Setting」の「Security」の欄にPINコード指定のメニューがあります。最初は「Set up a PIN」と書いてあるようですね。その後メールアドレスの確認があって指示に沿って手続きするとPINコードが設定できます。これは決済等々で入力を求められるようです。
GrabではこのPINコードの設定も「Grab PIN」とかって名前がついているようですが・・・これをちゃんと設定できると、ログイン後に「Payment」の中に・・・。
ちゃんとクレジットカード情報が残るようになります。そして配車の時もこの支払方法が呼び出せるようになります。（これもまた日本で起動するとカード情報読みだせないので支払方法を変えます、とか出ます）
ということで、Grabアプリ、意外とちゃんとしてるな、と思いました。
