Googleがスマホに特化した新しいサイトチェッカーを出してきました。「Test My Site」というようです。早速このサイトで試してみました。

Google謹製サイトチェッカー「Test My Site」
Googleがインデックスをモバイルファーストにする、という話もありますが、その中でサイトに問題がないかどうかをチェックしてくれるサイトチェッカーをリリースしています。
前にもあったんですが・・・・

Test My Siteで実際にfreesim.tokyoをチェックしてみる
実際にこのサイト、freesim.tokyoでどんな評価になるかテストしてみました。
URLを入力
テストと言ってもURLを入力するだけなので簡単。スマホでhttp://の入力が面倒くさかったら飛ばしても大丈夫です。
入力が終わるとぐるぐるインジケーターが回転し、画面最下部にプログレスバーが表示されて進捗がわかるようになっています。
3G接続でチェック
Googleによると2020年でも世界の70%が3G以下の接続だそう。それを前提にサイトをチェックしてくれるようですね。
サイトのデータ分析
HTML/CSS、JavaScript、データの圧縮のそれぞれをチェックしてくれます。
データの圧縮、というのは、サーバ側でデータを圧縮してレスポンス、ブラウザで復元して表示する方法でHTTPサーバの設定によるもの。
ネットワークのデータ流量を低減させる効果があります。しかしサーバで圧縮、クライアントで解凍するためそれぞれにCPUパワーが必要。
昔はCPUコストが高かったのでちょっと敬遠気味でしたが今はサーバもスマホもCPUパワーあるので一般的です。
モバイル対応度のテスト
Viewportや押し間違いやすいリンク、テキストの可読性などをチェック。
類似サイトをチェック
これが今回追加された機能かな・・・？サイトの内容からカテゴリを判断して同様のサイトとのパフォーマンス比較をしてくれる、という機能。
幾つかのサイトで試しましたが結構正確、な気がします。
速度確認
色々とシミュレーションしてくれるようですね・・・。
ニューラルネットワークとは神経科学のシミュレーションらしいですが、それを多分ネットワークに適用した形でシミュレーションしてるんだと思います。
読み込み速度と離脱率
そしてこのサイトのトップページの結果が出ました！読み込み8秒・・・！！遅い・・ｗ
そして推定離脱率が28%とな・・・！1/4超えますね・・・それは良くない・・・。ということで、ページの読み込み速度の改善をしないといけませんね。
業種内比較
こちらが業種で比較した結果。読み込み速度8秒は普通の下の方、のようですね。少なくとも5秒以下にしないと同カテゴリのサイトの中では優位に立てない、というのがわかりやすく表示されました。
無料レポートをゲット
今回のモバイルサイトテストでは表示された以外に詳細なレポートを指定したメールアドレスに送ってくれるようです。
一応申込から1時間くらいかかる、ということなので、それなりに詳細なレポートになるんだろうと思われます。
今回のGoogleのTest My Site、一般的な速度チェックとは違ってカテゴリの類推があったり、一般的なサイトとの比較があったりなど、Googleにしか出来なさそうな機能が入っています。
自分のサイトのチェックにも、競合チェックにもなかなか使えそうですね！
