買い替え、アップグレードして良かったものをまとめました。

今年買い替え/アプグレして良かったもの。
ロードバイクやランニングのギアやグッズで通り一遍アイテムが揃ってくると、次はさらに良いものや興味のあるものに買い替えやアップグレードをすることになってきます。そういった感じの買い物の2022年でよかったものをまとめました。
ロードバイク
まぁそりゃそうだろうよ、という話ですが、Cannondale Caad13からCanyon Ultimate CF SL 8に買い替えました。
とはいえcaad13の方も通勤やその辺に行くのに普通に使ってます。Ultimateは毎朝の練習ライド、caad13はカジュアル使い、という感じです。Stravaによるとcaad13が1.3万キロ弱、Ultimateが1万キロ弱乗っているようです。
買い替えてどうだったか、という点でいえば・・・caad13もいいバイクなだけにあまりフレームの違いは実感できてなくて。Ultegraのシフトが105に比べてやっぱりスムーズ、ということくらいでしょうか。
けど今年ブルベでSRとりましたが、caad13だとちょっと行けたとは思えないです。特に400と600は難しかっただろうなぁ・・・という気がします。
サイコン
これは買い替えというより事故だったのですが、もともと使っていたGarmin Edge 530をジャージポケットに入れたまま洗濯してしまう、というアクシデントでGarmin Edge 1040 Solarに替えました。その後Garminの保証で530が新品で返ってきてしまう、という思わぬ僥倖もありました。
さて、Edge 1040 solarですが、やはり大画面、タッチパネル、ソーラー充電はいいですね。あと1040しかないと思われるスタミナの測定も参考になります。
これまでスピードばかり見ていたのですが、最近設定したコースでパワーガイドを使って指定パワー以上出しながら走る、というやり方に変えて、練習やロングライドがめちゃくちゃキツくなりました。これまで100キロ余裕だったのが、ガイド見ながらだと100キロで足が売り切れます。
ランニングウォッチ
実はGarminのウォッチも買い替えました。Garmin Foreathlete 245からForerunner 255Sを経て、Forerunner 955にしています。これは完全にノリで買いました。
955にするとEdge 1040同様スタミナの測定があるので便利です。955で一番重視した機能は実は地図。出先で走るときは大抵Stravaで距離指定して拠点からのルートを作ってGarminに転送、とやっているのですが、245や255だとナビがよくわからないことが結構ありました。
Garminのナビって方向だけが表示されるので、入り組んだ市街地や、逆に山のトレイルっぽいところだと方向が微妙にわからないことがありました。955だと地図が内蔵されているのである程度地形を確認しながら走れます。
またこのマップ、自転車のときもたまに使えたりします。この先の道がどうなってるのか、とかの確認ですね。
冬用ジャージ
これはアプグレといえるかどうかわかりませんが、冬用、特に0～5度くらいのジャージは結局dhbのものが一番良かったのでこれに買い替えています。
質もそうですがコスパがいいですね。海外物販なので到着までの時間だけがネック。
インナー
これまではおたふく手袋一択だったのですが、周りで結構モンベルのジオラインがいい、という話をきくので、最初のころに買ったジオラインのLWとMWを引っ張り出してみました。
確かにいいですね。特にジオラインM.W.。
これで防風だけやればかなり温かいので、最近の0度近い気温でも、ジオラインM.W.とdhbのジャージ2枚で走っています。ジオラインEXPはさらに温かいらしいですが一度ためそうか検討中。
とはいえ酷寒の時期はライドでダラダラ汗かいたりしないので、インナーの上にヒートテックのタートルとか着るでも十分防寒になるんですけどね。
骨伝導イヤフォン
ロングライドのお供、骨伝導イヤフォンですが、この間のブラックフライデーでShokz openrun miniに買い替えました。これもヘルメットに干渉しなくなって良かったです。音質もOpenmoveとかと比べるとかなり良くなっています。
