タクシー料金が事前に確定に。ちょっとUberに近づく
東京オリンピックへのインバウンド対応でいろんなものがどんどん進むようになってきました。これまでのメーターのタクシー料金も事前に料金確定する方向に変える方向だそうです。
タクシーを使いたい人がアプリに乗車予定地と目的地を入力すると、自動計算で運賃が画面に表示される。利用者はその運賃で予約し、決済して乗車する仕組みだ。
これまでのタクシーの乗ってから降りるまで料金がわからないメーター方式から、アプリで事前に区間指定して料金確定、決済も行う、というアプリ方式への移行を法改正に盛り込むそうです。
直接は書かれてないですが、暗に配車もほとんどのケースで行うことが必要になるので、結局配車サービスをアプリでやりなさい、という内容ですね。日本交通とかはほとんど終わってる内容・・・けど料金確定のロジックはお国にチェックしてもらう必要があるのかな・・・。
これって要はこの記事で触れましたけど、タクシー会社を配車サービス化しろってことですよね。

「タクシー業界はUberを警戒」とありますが、今回の発表で結局「お前らがUber（国内版）をやれ」という話だったわけですね。
アプリで便利の裏で虐げられる人がいる？
さて、この文面から読む限りは「事前にタクシー料金が確定するなんて便利！」と思うのですが、逆に考えると「アプリを使えない人は料金が事前に確定しない（これまで通り）」とも読めるわけです。
アプリが使えない人というのは、スマホがない、カードがない、といった人たちなのですが、実際にこの層にに当てはまるのって・・・年配の方じゃないかなぁ・・と。
で、もしかすると・・・アプリで定額化するとタクシーは収益が圧迫されるかも知れなくて、さらにもしかすると、収益圧迫されたタクシー会社または運転手さんは、アプリを利用していない人の料金で回収しにいくかも・・・？とか思っちゃったりしました。怖い怖い。
