自転車に骨伝導イヤホンはピッタリ。
秋口からずっと毎朝最低でも25キロのライドをしていますが、そこで思った以上に助けられているものがあります。それは骨伝導イヤホンです。使っているのはこのcheero（チーロ）の骨伝導イヤホンTouchBone。
今だとテレワークなどで脚光を浴びたAftershokzとかなのかもですが。
ま、どっちにせよ骨伝導イヤホンであれば耳を塞がないので自転車には向いています。耳をふさがないタイプではほかにもネックスピーカーという肩にかけるようなのもあります。
自転車でイヤホンは禁止では？
自転車でイヤホンをするのは違反では・・・？
僕もそう思ったので早速調べました。基本的には「イヤホンが禁止ではなく、周りの音が聞こえない状態で運転をしてはいけない」というのが決まりのようです。その上で各都道府県の条例でイヤホンが禁止されているところがあるよう。

この辺を見ると京都府や島根県が条例でイヤホンの装着自体が禁止のようです。それは骨伝導イヤホンでもNG。ネックスピーカーだとどうなんだろう・・・？
骨伝導イヤホンで何を聞いてる？効果は？
ライドをしているときに骨伝導イヤホンで何を聞くか、ですが、僕は前に紹介したことがあるPodcastの英語のニュースを聞いています。
英語ヒアリングにオススメのポッドキャスト(Podcast)
英語のヒアリングを鍛えるにはポッドキャストは超オススメです。
もともと音楽を聞くタイプではなく、歩いている時でも片耳イヤホンでニュースを聞いていました。
片耳用のBluetooth完全ワイヤレスイヤホンを買いました。
世間ではBluetoothの完全ワイヤレスイヤホンがかなり普及してきているみたいですが、そんな中で片耳用のを買いました。
で、聞いている効果ですが、普通にリスニングの練習になるのが1つ。自転車を漕いでいる間は耳は空いてますし・・・毎朝のライドでも1時間くらいは走っているので学習時間としてもうまい使い方かと思っています。
あとはロングライドなどで、退屈な道などでもニュースを聞きながら半ば無になった状態で淡々と進めるのが大きいな、と思います。音無しでは走っていると聞こえるのは周りの音だけですよね。車道だと車の音を聞き続ける感じだと思いますが、基本バックグラウンドにニュースが流れているので集中する対象を周囲の音にするか、ニュースにするかを選べるのが長い距離をストレスなく走れるコツだと思うようになりました。
ブルベに来年は参加したいな、と思っているのですが、ブルベでイヤホン禁止のレギュレーションだと結構きついかも・・・。
